Property Description for #314 CONDO DESCRIPTION: This (third, top Floor), Studio room #314 is a great getaway with an awesome View! Located at Neskowin Resort, this is an OCEANFRONT room overlooking the beachfront and creek that sleeps two, has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It has a kitchenette that is well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, silverware, coffee pot, toaster, blender, microwave, small refrigerator, small stove and a small table with chairs. There is even an electric fireplace, so you can kick back and get cozy! There is a Queen Size Bed and a loveseat that converts into a twin Hide-a-bed with plenty of bedding, plus a recliner to stretch out in while watching the ocean (that is right outside your door) or the cable TV with a DVD player built in and a good selection of DVDs to choose from. There is also high speed WiFi in this Non-smoking room. There are binoculars for closer ocean viewing and whale watching, tub/shower combo including hairdryer, iron with small iron board, and small fan. Private seasonal beach access available mid May-mid September, and on site laundry facilities, and meeting room to rent. If you want to relax on the beach, there are beach chairs to use in the condo as well, or you can enjoy your own private deck (with plenty of deck seating) facing the ocean with some of the most awesome views and sunsets!! | RESORT AMENITIES and SURROUNDING AREA: Neskowin is a quiet and charming coastal village that is considered to be one of the most romantic and peaceful beaches around. Where the people are friendly and the views are awesome! It is located at the North end of Cascade Head, nestled between two beautiful year round creeks that join together and flow into the ocean right outside your door. You can also enjoy a variety of activities such as beach combing (on the 7 miles of secluded beach), kite flying, or climbing the very beautiful Proposal Rock at low tide. In the town of Neskowin, amid the quaint beach cottages and condos, you'll also find within easy walking distance, a general grocery store (with a Deli that includes breakfast items and Espresso), The Café on Hawk Creek restaurant, and Beach Club Bistro/wine/bar/pub. There is a Seasonal Farmers Market, a small Post Office, BBQ in the outdoor common area, and the Neskowin Resort meeting room to rent for special events. 24 hour surveillance cameras, an art gallery, and a seasonal nine-hole 35 par golf course (in the village) with its charming Clubhouse, as well as year round golf courses, shopping, restaurants, Casino, and a variety of activities in the nearby towns of Lincoln City, Salishan, Depoe Bay, (with the award winning Pelican Brew Pub, surfing and Dory boats in Pacific City), all just minutes away. There are numerous hiking trails (including on Cascade Head), bike riding, launch your kayak through the bird estuary of Nestucca Bay, and seasonal horseback riding in and around Neskowin.   For a unit this small there were waaaay too many decorative throw pillows. Fortunately I was by myself and could get them out of my way; if another person using the third bed were to have been there, it would have been a problem as the unit is quite small. At this price point I didn’t expect to have to take out my own garbage and the deck furniture could use a good wiping.

  We enjoyed this studio unit with a lovely view. Affordable for us too. Only challenge is no elevator so everything has to be hauled up two flights of stairs. Having said that, we’ll still probably stay there again. Everything was tidy and little tiny kitchen was well supplied with everything you need. Only drawback in the kitchen is the freezer/refrig is small so couldn’t bring home a 1/2 gallon of ice cream from the market as the freezer was too small.
