  There is a bit of bldg maint that needs to be handled and a bit of maint in the one and only restroom but the location and everything provided is wonderful!

  First, the lady that greeted me at the office, was so nice and pleasant!
  We have stayed at the Chelan many times over the last few years, it's my favorite place on the coast.
  I love the beautiful ocean view and proposal rock.
  The only improvement I might recommend is to get a bigger working coffee maker. There was a very small one, but we had to make a couple pots to get even 2 cups each in the morning.

  I have been staying at the Chelan since the mid-60's. . .it's been a long time!! I enjoy the small community of Neskowin, the "on the beach" Chelan location, and it's close proximity to the Inn at Hawk Creek and the Neskowin General Store. Neskowin is a "retreat" and not commercialized like other coastal towns. Chelan is the perfect escape from the "city life".

  We have rented this condo about 10 times over several years. We were surprised to see light carpet installed when it is a PET FRIENDLY UNIT.
  This might cause us to not rent this u it next time as I don't want to worry about paw prints or tracking on the carpet from us (outside/ beach).

  Property has fantastic ocean views and beach access. The kitchen in this unit is not as well stocked as others at the same property and has cheap worn-out cookware but it did not negatively impact our wonderful time there. The unit was very clean when we arrived and had thoughtful beach themed décor that we loved. We had a maintenance problem but the worker was dedicated to get it resolved for us. There is a farmer's market from 9-1 on Saturdays, ice cream truck, restaurants and cute shops within five minute walking distance. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone who loves the ocean/beach! This was the third year we stayed at Chelan condos and we will stay there again next year we love it so much!

  Overall, the stay was nice. We love the area and the rental property. The challenge this time was that our property was not ready as it should have been when we arrived. We ended up having to stay in another rental the first night. The following day, we needed to pack up and move. This required coordination and more correspondence with the front desk than desired, as it took away from the overall relaxation we had intended for this trip, especially being that it was only two nights. At the time of our trip, we were not offered a refund of any kind and still have not heard back from the rental property regarding that.

  The location of the Chelan is perfect for a great view from a ground floor condo. Very relaxing, and the provided fireplace log every night made it even cozier. Very nice to have two bedrooms, also. The window shade on the right window needs some work (it’s very loose at the top, and could fall down.) Other than that, all is comfy and cozy and very relaxing.

  Unit # 2 has been our favorite so far. We have stayed in Unit #1 and Unit #7, as well (Unit #7 had a poor view and Unit #1 is on the corner so gets very windy.)   I will start by saying this is the only place in 12 years in Oregon travels that we have stayed at more than once. The Chelan and Neskowin in general have become our special place away from home. The units are older and in that is where their charm lies. They are absolute bunkers in their construction and therefore stay quiet and warm especially with the fireplaces that actually allow you to have a nice size fire! The kitchen - fully stocked, the bathrooms - modern and comfortable, the bedrooms - tucked away and cozy. And the view of ocean couldn't be any better. Nice big windows looking out at the waves. And the bookshelves were full of books, movies to watch on the DVD player/ Smart TV, board games and plenty of extra blankets for the really cold wintery nights.
  On top of this, you are a short walk away from the Trading Post and Cafe. You can even give your car a vacation and park it and leave it during you stay. Looking forward to our next stay.
  Oh year, all interactions with the staff during check in/out were nothing but super friendly and inviting...

  We have stayed in many units at the Chelan and love it dearly. This unit is in need of some upgrades, and additions. Looks like there had been some water damage to the carpet and walls that need some attention and repairs. Most cabinets in the kitchen are locked, leaving no pantry space and there is already limited counter space in the unit, so if you are staying for an extended period of time (we were there a week and brought lots of groceries) there is no place to really put pantry items. The kitchen was hardly stocked to be able to cook a meal, and the full size bed was extremely extremely firm and very creeky, even when just sat on, so if you toss and turn you’ll be up all night. The couch and chairs in the living room are lovely— especially the swivel chairs so you can easily turn to see the ocean, then spin back around to the group. We love the direct beach access and the outside area! The chairs on the back grass seem to be on their last leg— wood chairs at the coast won’t last forever, but they served their purpose.
